Accountability
Definition: the obligation or willingness to accept responsibility for one’s actions.
Be accountable for the outcomes rather than the tasks.
Your business is how you create it; therefore, you get to choose everything.
You choose when, how and why you have created your business. To be accountable for the outcomes; you need to know what results you are wanting in your business and why.
To be able to show up and do the work and be accountable, you need to know what work needs to be done and why.
Some questions for you:
Why did you start your business?
What makes your business special?
Why should people spend their money with you?
What is one thing you would fight for in your business?
List the emotions you want to feel in your business?
If you had no choice but to build this business, make a list of things you would do without caring what anyone else thought. (e.g. you had no other income source, you had to build this business to feed your children, house your family.)
To be accountable for the outcomes and not the tasks allows for creativity and curiosity, experimentation, expansion and culling. There are an incredible number of ways you can get the results you want. It gets to be fun and creative if you want it to.
Being accountable means taking responsibility for the business you are creating, it is your time and energy you are putting into this area of your life. There will be times when it all feels too hard, to uncomfortable and this is where it is important to know you why. To know the bigger picture of what you are creating for yourself, your business, and your clients. Would you fight for this business? Or is it easier to get a 9-5? This is your life and business, you get to choose your hard.
It is important to have structure in your business; how, why and when things need to be done by, it is important for you to know the values and standards of what you will uphold in your business, your boundaries and having clarity on what you want your business to look like.
How do you want your business to look to your clients? Do you want it to look like a space where clients feel safe to be vulnerable with you in their photo session? Where they know what to expect from you and to trust that you will deliver what you promise? Not only in images but the experience of the photo session?
This is where accountability comes in; show up, do the work not only before the photo session but during and after, be honest, be respectful of the time, energy and money clients are blessing you with. Because they have chosen you. And being accountable is the practice of being held to a certain level of excellence. You are responsible for your actions and choices in your business. Accountability promotes high level of work ethic, promotes honesty, dependability, and trust from you to your clients.

I also have motherhood photo sessions available during the school holidays and a couple of weekend sessions.
Why should you have a motherhood session? Because you as a mother are important in the lives of your children and family, mothers are often the invisible woman, the photo sessions acknowledge you in your role as woman, mother, everything. The photo sessions are a legacy work of art, they will be viewed by your children and theirs. HOWEVER, it is important for women and mothers to document themselves now, to see your evolution now, your importance now - even if you don’t recognize it in yourself. We only have now. We live life every single day, every single day we get to start over. We do only have one death – and that is final.
The link is here to pay for your motherhood photo session.
Have a beautiful day
